Liviu and Amalia are members of Fourth Brethren Church in Iași and have been working as missionaries in the jungles of Peru since 2007. After several months of specialized training at the center of the Segadores mission in Lima, they settled among the Ashaninca tribe and began to work among them.
The activities that they have been involved in up to now have been the building of a mission house and teaching in the primary school. They came back to Romania in November 2008 for a three-month furlough. Their project for 2009, after their return to Peru, was the construction of a school for adults where they will ultimately work as teachers. Their desire – with the Lord’s help and in partnership with the Segadores team – is to plant a church among the Ashaninca.
